Gendercafé – Button-making Workshop

Join us for a button-making workshop!

Buttons have always been more than just decoration. For our community, they’ve been a way to show pride, share pronouns, spark conversation and find recognition.

In this workshop, we’ll explore that history and then create our own! You’ll get the chance to design and press buttons using different techniques, so you can take home something that gives you joy.

We’ll provide the materials as much as possible. You’re also welcome to bring things you’d like to include in your button design, or to share.
(Think small drawings, printouts, collaged words/images, markers, etc.)

Not into doing something hands-on? Just want a drink and a talk? You’re very welcome to join us all evening. Gendercafe is a great place to hang out and meet trans and non-binary community!
